SARAH DIPPOLD

PRINCIPLE DESIGNER/OWNER

Sarah takes an architectural approach to designing interiors. Fundamental spatial relationships such as counterpoints, axial symmetry, balance, proportion, and scale are constant guiding elements that contribute to establishing a peaceful order and timeless appeal.

Classically trained at Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Sarah went on to work for the prestigious design firm Handman Associates, where she gained invaluable experience in all facets of the design business, before launching Sarah Dippold Design.

In addition to projects in Chicago, Sarah has worked on projects in Michigan, Colorado and California as well as lake homes on Silver Lake and Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. Sarah has also become known for her work designing commercial projects that include Hometown Coffee Glencoe & Winnetka locations, TRUE yoga studio in Northbrook, and her commissioned installations for the widely acclaimed Grace restaurant in Chicago.

HOLLY MOLLICONE

DESIGN DIRECTOR

Holly’s role at SDD is simple (but complex!): doing whatever it takes to keep each project moving, successfully, on behalf of all vested parties: our Design & Business Teams, our partner Architects & Builders, our trusted Vendors, and of course, our Clients.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Holly spent the first years of her career in Marketing, quickly moving up the corporate ranks and eventually starting her own Event Marketing Business, which she ran for nearly 10 years.

At a pivotal time in life, Holly chose to pursue her true passion of Interior Design. While in the Interior Design Program at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Holly landed the opportunity to work with SDD in a part-time role, which allowed her to simultaneously dive into the day-to-day tasks of Interior Design. Her natural design eye & keen business acumen made her an immediate cornerstone of the SDD team. Holly now oversees our Design Operations full-time, focused on ensuring project success & client satisfaction.

Alongside Sarah, Holly is the main contact for our Clients’ questions & needs.
